A couple of days in the garden city
A short stop on the way back from Cambodia was a great way to make the travel a little more manageable. I didn't venture far from the well-trodden tourist path, but it was enough. Chinatown, Little India, the hawker food, it's a feast for the senses.
Seeing the 'modern' city side-by-side with the traditional, from the top of the Singapore Flyer is fascinating and a little jarring at the same time. Places like Gardens by the Bay are masterpieces of architecture, yet I couldn't help but wonder what it all looked like just a few decades ago. (Though tbh, those gardens are absolutely lush! 👀)
